Love My Business program supports suburban businesses

As part of the city’s Make It Kitchener 2.0 Recovery Framework, the Love My Business program was introduced in the spring of 2022. The City provided local suburban businesses with various support over the last 6 months to assist them in reconnecting with Kitchener residents.  These supports included funding for community events, marketing collaborations, and one-on-one digital content training. The program also facilitated learning events, inviting businesses to network and share their own marketing experiences.  More than 50 businesses participated in the program and the community response was terrific. Residents attended events such as markets, concerts, movie nights, and open houses, forming greater connections with businesses in their neighbourhoods.
